Onyx Live
Onyx Live is the live trading room on the Aden Onyx YouTube channel. Onyx is the trading intelligence at the centre of Aden's trading work. In the room it watches XAUUSD (gold), reports what it actually does (its positions, its trades and how they closed), answers viewers' questions in the live chat with its own synthetic voice, and keeps the chat in order.
Where it stands. Onyx is still being built and tested. Real-money trading has not started: anything shown is a test or a simulation and is labelled as such. Onyx speaks only from what its own trading system has recorded. It does not make price predictions and it does not give personal financial advice.
What Onyx Live does with YouTube
Onyx Live uses YouTube API Services. The Aden Onyx channel (the owner of the broadcast) authorizes it to work in the live chat of the channel's own live streams. With that authorization it:
- reads the live chat messages posted during Aden Onyx live streams, so that Onyx can answer questions addressed to it;
- posts short Onyx notices in that chat;
- moderates that chat on the channel's behalf: removing messages and, for repeated or serious abuse, restricting participants.
Viewers do not sign in to Onyx Live and do not grant it access to anything. It does not access any other channel, any viewer's account or any data outside the live chat of Aden Onyx streams. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is processed, how long it is kept and who processes it.
